The First Lady tweeted her congratulations to Robin Roberts, pictured with Michelle Obama in February, after the morning show host acknowledged her longtime girlfriend in a Facebook posting marking her recovery.
Michelle Obama congratulated "Good Morning America" host Robin Roberts and her newly acknowledged girlfriend, Amber Laign, as Roberts marks her remarkable recovery after a bone marrow transplant.
"I am so happy for you and Amber!" the first lady tweeted Monday, while the first family spends the holidays in Hawaii.
"You continue to make us all proud," Obama added, signing the tweet "mo" to indicate she authored the message and not her staff.
